Hosted by China People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a photo exhibition was held in the Catalogue Hall of Shanghai Library between January 17 and 31.

History has much to teach us, and our people bear witness to what has passed. The exhibition provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the development of Sino-US relationship from a comprehensive and objective perspective. Through the main four parts respectively entitled 'Recalling History', 'Friendship Between People', 'Economic Exchanges' and 'Win-Win Cooperation', it reviews a variety of interactions in the fields of politics, economy, culture, education and sports.

As an important part of celebration of the 30th anniversary of China-US diplomatic relations, the photo exhibition captures stirring moments that perpetuate the friendship between the two nations and is thus expected to draw wide attentions.
