On February 2, 2009, the 15 days’ exhibition on selected Shanghai prints met the public in the Catalogue Hall on the first floor of Shanghai Library. The 60 delicate works from 38 artists added to the festive flavor and constituted an attractive scene inside the library.

Organized by Chinese Celebrities’ Manuscript Department, the exhibition received generous supports from Print Committee of Shanghai Artists Association. The artistic form has been the object of interest to libraries over the globe, some of which even set up departments devoted to prints. Shanghai Library, maintaining its heritage of print collection, is active, in particular, to keep close tie with print circle at home. The exhibition is thus presented as a New Year gift to the domestic art world.
