This report divides the manufacturing industries into such categories as hi-and-new-tech industry, equipment industry, infrastructure industry, newly-emerging industry and strategic industry, and identifies 26 key sectors including electronic information, biology technology, pharmaceutics, new material, mechanical equipment, power station and electricity distribution, medical equipment, instrumentation, auto making, shipbuilding, airplane, railway transportation, petrochemicals, steel, photoelectronics, new energy, environment protection, nanometer technology and so on.
Researches were carried out on the basis of a huge amount of first-hand resources found home and abroad, to analyze the development of several selected representative industrial countries, regions and transnational companies, as well as the future trends of these key sectors.
