Pure Brightness Day (a.k.a. Tomb Sweeping Day) is one of the 24 solar terms and a traditional Chinese festival. Conveying sentimental feelings and reminiscence about the deceased, however, the day is also filled with the liveliness of the spring and thus constitutes a right time for life celebration. Our lecturer, Ms. Weng Minhua, professor from Shanghai Normal University, would share with us her ideas of how the day should be spent in today¡¯s civilized society.
