ring September 25 and early October at the New books promotion hall of the third floor of Shanghai Library.
More than 200 pieces of exhibits were displayed to the public, some are extremely Chinese in style, while others are highly modernistic and experimental by using white steel, bronze, pottery and porcelain materials.

A vigorously growing book publishing industry in China in recent years has opened up a broad prospect for Chinese book designers. An array of designers have risen into public views with novel ideas and fancy inspirations.
As a book designer, Mr. Jiang Xun is also a painter, a poet and a collector of engravings of ancient Chinese books. He designs books with aesthetics of a painter, romanticism of a poet and his own wild imagination to extend his passions on the beauty of books, giving attentions to both external appearance of a book and the expressive force of the fonts and illustrations. He has planned, edited and published many books.
